Current Status: On the main stretch in Adams Morgan is a sports bar called The Game. The co-owner/bartender there, Jo-Jo Valenzuela, is from the Philippines and when they opened he cooked Filipino food to supplement the traditional bar fare. It caught on, so they took the space above The Game and converted into Tiki on 18th. There is street seating where you can order from either menu. If you do dine-in, keep in mind that Valenzuela is one of the more respected crafter of cocktails in the city (do we use the term mixologist still?).
