Los Hermanos

Current Status: The fact so many Dominican pro ballplayers happily eat from Los Hermanos is a pretty good endorsement.  The gem of Dominican favorites in Columbia Heights has taken out its seating (at least prior to May 21 DC re-opening).  But they do have lots of good stuff and are part of a burgeoning Caribbean food scene. The fried chicken and roast pork were standouts on our first visit.  Also available for take-out and delivery.

Other Critics/Voices:

Washington Post: Emily Codik wrote a very positive piece while Tim was on vacation (and now seems to be living her best plant-based life in Rio).

Washingtonian: 2013 Cheap Eats.  Codik did a 2015 piece on the catering to Nationals Park to feed the Dominican players who come to town.
